In the Top 10 List the position of Asian Companies is even better: 9 out of 10.

The World Steel Industry is driven by Asian Companies, with China as a Leading Country.

The first USA company is US Steel Corporation in position number 13th. The production of biggest US based Steel Company is half of Hebei (position 2nd).

Arcelor Mittal leads the World Steel Producers List well ahead number two. Nevertheless, as shown during the economic crisis that hit the steel industry in July 2008, the leader is not able to make more a tendency in the market due to the very large number of big steel producers in China.

A clear picture of the movement of the steel industry to China is that ThyssenKrupp -a simbol of the european steel production, ranks at position number 17th with 17,9 Mt.
