CHINA STEEL PRODUCTION UP BY 12,8% ON YoY BASIS AUGUST 2013

China steel production in August 13 was 66,3 Mtons representing a 12,8% increase over the same month last year.

World steel production was 130 Mt a 5,2% increase over last year.

World capacity utilization ratio attained 75,4%, an increase of 1% over last year monthly figure.

China continuous showing an impair steel production growth. Economic momentum for Q3 2013 is positive with all economic indicators showing better performance than in Q2 2013.
